A Mother's Story

No one knows better than I what wonderful and awesome miracles God works through Teen Challenge. A year ago my son was doing any kind of drug he could get his hands on. He ended up in jail for stealing checks from me and from his stepfather and for forging my name. The hardest thing I ever had to do was practice tough love, but I knew it was going to save his life. He asked to go to Teen Challenge and because of some wonderful people with Teen Challenge and with the Lord's help, he was accepted. I will never forget the first time his four children and I got to visit him. He put his arms around all five of us, and his fourteen year old daughter cried and said, "Daddy, you look so good."

This is truly a miracle. My son has been transformed and is now serving a different Master. He has graduated the program and is at home now. He has a job with a deacon of a church. He now does things with his children like taking them to the movies and bowling. He takes his son to football practice every day. These simple "little things" that he never did before mean so much to them now.
