THE CAUSEway 5K is a benefit run to raise awareness that the cycle of addiction can be broken and to raise contributions for Alabama Teen Challenge. For more than 50 years Teen Challenge has been providing quality, low cost drug and alcohol recovery programs for individuals of all ages. Although many have benefited from their association with the Teen Challenge program, this run is not about those from our 50 year past - It is about the 19 million Americans who need help with their addiction today. Will you support THE CAUSE?

Soul to Soul Sisters at the 2010 race.

Thanks to all who helped and participated in the 3rd annual Causeway 5K. The event was larger than ever before! This year’s fun run was an exciting addition to the race schedule and well received. Thanks again to Burris Farmer's Market for donating the fruits for the after race snacks and to Buffalo Rock Beverages for donating the water. Many comments were heard about how good the food was. It was hot but everyone finished the race without heat related medical problems. Congratulations to Soul to Soul Sisters on running their inaugural race for their organization. It was a tremendous blessing to have all of you participate! Looking forward to next year with a few changes. We will run at 7:15 am next year in an attempt to avoid some of the heat and we will be inviting health organizations to participate with a booth at the race. Once again, Thanks and may God bless each of you!
